The Clash - This is Radio Clash springs immediately to mind......
Ray Parker jnr - pre Ghostbusters fame - had a big hit over here about 1974 with a song called "Jack and Jill" - the band was actually called Raydio....
And does anyone remember a song called "Life is a rock (but the radio rolled me)" by a band called Reunion? It was basically a list of rock bands/singers they liked - I know it started "BB Bumble and the Stingers, Mott The Hoople, Ray Charles Singers" but I haven't heard it for donkey's years - I may have it on vinyl somewhere up in the attic, I'll have to dig it out....
:D :D :D
