I just received my copy of "Music Theory for Guitarrists". I was impressed first by the big box in which Amazon had to put it in. Then by the large format of the book. But mainly I was impressed by the simplicity with which Tom explains every concept that might be otherwise frightening for many of us.
I'm sure it will be a graet resource for my re-ecounter with the guitar, and a very nice companion for the weekend, as I plan to read it from cover to cover for the first time.

I just purchased it also.
Still perusing it, and so far, its been a worthwhile purchase.
My book arrived yesterday and I've read over it once. Nice and simple quite well written. A few obvious typo's but nothing to bad.
I'm a little dissapointed not more detail on the modes and use of them, maybe I expected to much.
Worth looking at if you want solid theory
