I got the notes. Thank you.

Also, special thanks to the person who originally wrote these notes. It was a fantastic idea and must have taken ages to do. The notes are really well presented and easy to understand. Thanks for sharing.

That would be Mike, who goes by "Rum Runner" here at the Guitar Noise forums. He definitely deserves all the thank you's!

Peace

Hi

Just sent them over to you via email. Let me know if you don't get them.

And welcome to Guitar Noise, by the way. Obviously you joined the forum ages ago but we look forward to seeing you posting around on the Forum.

Peace

David

David,
I have a quick question about podcast 5. When doing the walking bass line on the G scale, there is something I haven't understood...
You say that the first few notes on the G scale are :
|-----------------
|-----------------
|-----------------
|------------------
|--- 0---2---4----
|-3----------------

but it sounds like you play the third fret of the A string instead of the fourth. When I play along with the podcast, it sounds horrible so I must have missed something somewhere.

Please help.

It should be the third fret and not the fourth. Sorry about that. I'll get it corrected. At least on paper. If I said it in the Podcast then it's just going to have to stand and I'll have to put up a disclaimer somewhere.

Nothing but mistakes these past few days. I'm getting old!

Peace

Hi Tod

I just sent them via email. Let me know if you don't get them.

And I'm looking forward to the new book, too. Mostly I'm looking forward to getting a break from writing and not looking for more mistakes!

Be seeing you on the boards.

Hi David,
Like many others, I'm so thankful for the Guitar Noise site. It has made learning to play the guitar possible for me.
Wonderful of Mike, too, to share his Podcast notes. Could you send me a copy? My e-mail address is [email protected]

And thank you very much, by the way for your kind words regarding Guitar Noise. It's always good to hear that the site is being helpful and both Paul and I are always interested in discussing ways to make it even better.

Be seeing you on the boards!

As mentioned before, all thanks should go to Mike, who goes by "Rum Runner" here at the Guitar Noise forums. He put a lot of work into them and I think everyone has benefitted from them.

Peace
