A Little Help

What style of music ??

Is it ballard , rock , soft rock ?

I've tried my hand at a couple of spirituals and quite often find
that my songs have a bit of morality tale to them.

As Barnabus said what style and it would be great to hear something.

As far as writing lyrics goes the best advice I can give is to keep it real.

Write from the heart and the head will follow.

What type of lyrics are you looking for exactly? I'm possibly interested.

well we're a "southern rock" sounding group. I.E. We take modern worship songs and give them some southern flavor. You can get an idea from our site. http://www.myspace.com/cornerstoneworship there are a few songs posted off our new demo album. Not hard rock definatley, but more like, I guess 80's power ballads, and along the lines of Classic rock, to 3 doors down and around the style of AC/DC and 38 Special. If that helps any the best advice for what we are like is our myspace page check it out. We will play pretty much anything Country as well.. If you have some lyrics or can write some we'd love to put music too it, and give you you're credit as well. Or if you have any ideas how to get started, we jam sometimes and make up really cool music that has feeling, but then we try to put lyrics to it and well nothing happens.
