It's been a spell since I've wrote anything, This one was inspired by folks I've taken care of at work :cry:
I'm working on a recording , Its a slow 12 bar in D. i will post it later as soon as its done. I will probably write one more verse also--the dog

The words seem ideal for the blues structure. Ditto for the theme.
One small request. If you do write another verse, please keep the last verse above for the end.

I like the flow, I like the words and I sure like the message. Looking forward to hearing it.

Update--The track is coming along well, pbee did the vocal and arjen has sent in a tasty guitar solo. I might have a real drummer as well, we will see. I added a last verse( sorry guys , but this is a better last verse IMHO.

Smokin, really cool lyrics..Well, cool meaning good, it's true stuff, written about stuff that you've witnessed, and that makes it more powerful, even if it is a blues.
Nice job with the vocals pbee, I wasn't too sure about the style in the begining, but by the end I got used to it, and loved it. You got a great voice over there pal.

Okay we had the first snow of the year here ... and my road was blocked so I had to stay home. As I'm cruising around this site (which I have neglected to do in quite awhile) ... I came upon this. Smokindog .... god damn!!! That was great .. exactly what I needed this morning. Fantastic .. don't change a thing. Arjen, kudos my man. Pbee .. good on vocals too ... your voice had a Mobyesque ring to it .. it really fit the mood and the mood I'm in right now. Others have said before and I'll say it again....
All of you ... just a great job and collaboration. I truly hope to see more of this type of working together from you guys and others as well.
I'm gonna smoke another cigarette and give it a few more listens.
