Well, this one is more hardcore than some other ones I've posted, I must admit. I really like songs that pump up the adrenaline, so I tried giving it a shot. Everytime I sing this song to myself, I feel unstopable. I should get it stuck in my head before a fight

COME FIGHT ME!!!

Come fight me!

Come fight me. Tango with my anger.
See my hate. Feel it shake and break out from its cage.
I see, I bleed, I can be destroyed.
But not today. I stay until I finish the job.

Come fight me!

Be the one to bring me to my end.
Be the one and become my demise.
Crave the fame of slaying the beast, then fail.
Maybe you were never meant to rise!

Come fight me!

Come join the hunt to find my weakness.
You are lost, and blind, scrambled by the fog.
I see, I bleed, I am just a mortal.
But I feel nothing. Pain tolerance has driven me!

Come fight me!

Be the one to bring me to my end.
Be the one and become my demise.
Crave the fame of slaying the beast, then fail.
Maybe you were never meant to rise!

Come fight me!

Run from this man that can not fall.
I won't lose, I survive, and find a way to your mind.
Make me believe that I can be the weaker?
Make me die? Hahahaha….

Be the one to bring me to my end.
Be the one and become my demise.
Crave the fame of slaying the beast, then fail.
Maybe you were never meant to rise!

So come fight me!
Come fight me.
So come fight me…
And die!

There's a thin fine line between hate and rage.
Now watch the line be crossed and break!

Pierson,

I think your lyrics would make a powerful hard rock song. I felt my muscles tensing up while reading. The song makes me uncomfortable, off-kilter, which I think is exactly its purpose. I'm not a fighter, but I'm an empathetic person and it made me identify with what the singer/author is feeling--invincible, pugnacious, bring it on type of thing. I would be afraid of/intimidated by this person, for sure, which I think is the intended mood of the song.

I give it a thumbs up, but I didn't vote because my exact feelings are not one of the poll's choices. Good work!

Yeah it is a hard-rock song. I use to box a lot, and songs like this would make me feel invincible. Sorry if the poll was a bit harsh. I didn't mean anything rude by "I'm not a fighter."

I'm not a bully, don't worry. Just a friendly ex-boxer

Funny thing margaret, I have a song called "the pugnacious". But that one isn't just about fighting, more about fighting back against whoever is trying to hold ya down.

Thanks all for your replies.

Pierson,

Each time I read through these lyrics, it reminds me of my brother, which I am safe saying because he isn't on GN! :) I can just see the exact look on his face that these words illustrate perfectly. Puffed out chest, spoiling for a fight, verbal or physical. I think you're right on target in the picture you painted with words.
