This song is wtritten inspired by something a friend of mine said to me a while ago. we were discussing a lad who'd just broken up withhis girlfriend, (or rather shed ditched him) and the extent to which its important for the blokes to rally round him in this kind of time. He used to phrase show your colours, but ive reinterpreted it as flying the flag for the guy. I see this is a punky kind of rant mostly, sneering verses and stacato angry chorus with powrchord stabs. Anyway, let me know what you think,

I thought that was great!
I really like the flow of it and found it fun to follow a long. One thing I noticed that slowed me down a little bit, was the last half of the last verse.
All in all, Great job!

I reckon you need to sneer that last verse out in the style of Johnny Rotten's "another council tenancy" line from Anarchy in the UK.

great song especially the chorus I like. It has a kind of flow when you read it. I also think the song building is very good the story is very clear.

I agree Alan, I see a lot of the verse as a sneered, original punk style.
I think i'm going to try to write some music for this one, I think that writing punk music will be easier for me than anything else. If i do, I'll try to get a recording up.
