This song is about a leader, president, king, whatever that everyone thought was their greatest hero. But he is really weak minded and is corrupt by power and cannot save them as their hero.

Lead Me
I smile for the graditude of thousands.
I wave my hand for support of others.
My mind whisers "coward" into my ear.
In my ear.

Ignorance is my key to failure.
It is what will make me fall.
I am ignorant of forces I cannot comprehend.
Failing them for they don't see me for who I really am.

Dreams of fame, to posses power.
Unsatisfied still (coward.)
Not concentrating on our goals.
Blinded by the search for power. (you coward.)
By power.

Ignorance is my key to failure.
It is what will make me fall.
I am ignorant of forces I cannot comprehend.
Failing them for they don't see me for who I really am.

Corupted, corupted, corupted and decaying.
Corupted, corupted, corupted and decaying.
Corupted, corupted, corupted and decaying.
Corupted, corupted, corupted as I decay.

Greed is now my mind.
War has come, now I'm their hero.
My world comes crashing down.
I could never be their hero.

Greed is now my mind.
War has come, now I'm their hero.
My world comes crashing down.
I could never be their hero.
I have to be their savior.
Their hero that will lead all them to death.

Ignorance is my key to failure.
It is what will make me fall.
I am ignorant of forces I cannot comprehend.
Failing them for they don't see me for who I really am.

Concious whispers "coward" but I'm not listening.
Power has crippled voice of reason.

So tell me what you think. And if you can, see my other songs. All songs are by "Pierson"

There's a thin fine line between hate and rage.
Now watch the line be crossed and break!

Pretty nice stuff. Maybe a bit straight forward, if you know what I mean. You could try a different point of view so that it would emphasise the leaders weakness...or something. Liked it.
