Obvious note: the song is a reference to love being as powerful and chaotic as a drug addiction, dependence on the person providing it, and the twisted pleasure whoever holds the power may get out of the deal

Congratulations! The first post is always the hardest IMO

To help us (the readers/listeners) out a bit, if this is about a specific assignment from the Sunday Songwriter's Group, it's good to included the week number to reference.

Regarding this song.....good job on focusing on a topic :D Love from the dealer's perspective....possibly a Casanova type character......It reminds me of a song called "Love Addict" by Family Force 5....they have a similar idea, but from the junkie's/dependent's point of view.

Welcome to the club! I've just been promoted from a 'newbie' myself, but I don't know if I'll ever get past the dripping-armpits stage. I'm always surprised how much 'grunt work' and 'tweaking' it takes to turn out one little song lyric. Keep writing. We're all just having fun here, aren't we? Wilhelmina
