the yamaha aes 620 is about $500 less then the aes $920 the reason is because the 620 has 1 seymour duncan 59 pickups and one original yamaha pickup and the 920 has 2 seymour duncan 59's.....is it worth having two? is this pickup really that great?

If all things were equal the one pickup difference sure would not be worth $500. However, the 920 sounds like it is also made out of better woods and other components. Basically it is their high end version of the same guitar as the 620.

A seymour duncan 59 is only worth about 70 US bucks retail.
I took at quick look, online, at both guitars. The 620 looks like it has a veneer flamed maple top, and the 920 looks like it has a full real maple top.
