I know this will shock you but I sold both of mine over a year ago.

Still have my MIA Deluxe, though. They're similar.....right.

Yeah man. Nice one Lefty!

We have an Evans covered and stacked black humbucker at the neck, an jus' Tom Delonge's (insane?) Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge. Really a guitar only needs one pickup and a volume knob if it has that.

We've drilled out the control plate instead of buying the convenient one with a slot for a toggle/slide switch. So, rotary is still the correct pickup selector, but I think it's at the back now, stacked domes are brand new tone and dual pickup blender, and the other chrome dome is a curly volume.

My eldest daughter Fender chick did it, the mods used to be in her Jagstang, and the guitar is not right here, so I'm not really sure, and I guess I'm not playing it at the moment.

Enjoy your '51 at 51, or wherever you are now! :D

Happy Birthday!

I never did get one. I see them once every couple of months of Craig's List, normally $20-$40 more than you cats paid for 'em.

(I notice the tee-shirt. Ever get that thing up and running?)

Still loving my '51s. One at work and one at home. I decked one out with all gold hardware, on the honeyburst it looks sweet, I call it my "Pimpcaster" 8) . There's a guy selling a burst and a black on Craigslist right now not too far away and I'm dying to get 'em. Why do I need more '51s? Beats me, but the GAS is coming on strong!

Keep rocking the '51s!

yes

recently had a renewed interest in playing my first modded version (black, neck P90, MOTS pickguard, LP toggle, black lacquered headstock, thru body stringing, threaded neck inserts). been thinking about adding a tone rolloff switch, or concentric pot tone adj plus tap switch to it. second modded one in sunburst with similar mods plus upgraded 'bucker and junior style pickguard is just waiting for soldering and stringing. third one is somewhere in storage awaiting its make-over.

I put new strings on mine a couple weeks ago-gave her a little tweekin and have neen playing it steady since then. Before that kind of had her set up like one of Roy's Keefcasters and didn't play it nearly as much!!

I play mine everyday and it's still stock... I'm still amazed at how good it sounds for such a cheap guitar.
