I was wondering what others used for accompanyment, especially vocals.

Total Guitar Magazine has backing tracks on their CD, but they lack vocals.

Does anyone use iSong? http://www.isong.com/isong.jsp
(they seem pricey and lack Mac OSX support)

A long time ago I bought Looking for Guitarist tapes, which were awesome (they included vocals), but they seem to have gone out of business. I used these for my performances at a Talent Show and got standing ovations both times!

I've considered drum machines, Band in a Box, and midi files, but they lack vocals.

Thanks!!

I havent used them yet but I have seen CDs like your talking about at Wal-Mart in the Kareoke area.

If I get a chance I will try to see who the producer is and maybe you can look them up in your area.

I use singers, and if I can't find those I sing myself. Seems the cheapest solution, too.
