I checked Yahama's site. It's not on there.

They've apparently had this very discussion on the Kittie forum pages last fall:

Near as folks can make out, it is a custom job called the "Flying M" and no one has (of yet) seen it on Yamaha's site. Perhaps writing the manufacturer directly?
Peace
cool looking guitar, anyone how much they cost?
even god loves rock-n-roll
I seem to remember an article about a Japanese guitarist, who goes on stage in ceremonial costume (Kimono, huge "flying" shoulders, etc.), that played a guitar similar to that one - if only I could remember his name or the mag, where I read the article.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

lol I think it looks cool...though I wouldnt buy one as I dont play death metal, or anything mega heavy.
Well I haven't found anything, so I'm guessing it's a custom job. So the only way I would get one of those is to have one made, which I'm not willing to do at this point. I tried the idea of Googling "Bat Guitar" ending up finding this:
Looks like Bruce Wayne's guitar or something. Well if Bruce Wayne were in a metal band.
"It's the bat inlay! Gotham needs me!"
I think it's cool looking.

I would be soooo much happy with the 50 year old stratocaster rather then a batcaster
And I'd be happy finding a V or Explorer that isn't neck heavy. Preferably new, the guitar I have now is at least 17 years old. Don't think it's vintage, but still want something new.
Not a fan of Strats, find them boring too. Though Crank'n'Jams funky strat made me go check what other Strats had some cool designs.
Oh yeah i just had to get in on this. OWA that baby is loaded with EMG81's !! i can see it now you will crumble at some point to the mighty EMG active Pickup, and have to have it at any cost
hahahaha!!
