Hi,
My tutor has these special acoustic guitar picks, they are like 2mm and 3mm thick and made from a softer plastic. They are also rounder on the edges. Does anybody know where i can get them in the UK, ive looked everywhere but am yet to find them.
Unless you know exactly what im talking about don't recommend any links.

Sounds to me like a type offered by Dunlop, Planet Waves and Tortex.
There are a few pick dealers on Ebay who should have what you are looking for.
I know it's obvious but go to a guitar store. They have tons of different kinds of picks at decent prices.

No, i've been to every single guitar store in liverpool and no one has them or can get hold of them. They are very specialised as i said and my tutor picked them up in Hollywood back in the 80s.
Are they thicker at the thumb side? I mean significantly?

I think Dunlop or someone makes picks like that called Stubbies or something. I have a friend who had those same picks. Try Ebay or an online store, like musiciansfriend.com
