WTF...???  That is probably one of the weirdest things I've seen since last friday. It is some kind of mechanism on the backside of the guitar, attatched to your strap that bends notes when you push the neck downwards???
I mean... :?: :?:
- what :?:
why would I possibly want one of these - soundclips anyone??

*ROTFL and every other kind of akronyms suggesting having a hilarious time*

...only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on...

Never played an adapted Tele, but the albert Lee model is GREAT. Music Man makes really high quality stuff, and since Albert Lee isn't as "mainstream" as Vai, etc. you could probably get it for a pretty reasonable price, compared to fender/gibson.

I'm thinking of getting the old steve morse model (poplar body with 4 PUs), that's a music man as well.

$1300 on MF.com

Not the greatest price, not the worst either.

Hope this helped!

Ok Larsko, this is fo' You.
this is the best demo of one being used i could find outside of a Pro band (eagles-peaceful easy feeling, Page- all my love)

also here is a great article
http://blogcritics.org/archives/2003/04/29/021311.php

i have been wanting a "real" Tele for quite a while and the style of music i like is pulling me away from the Epi "boneyard" that i was also drooling over.
anyhoo this seems like a lot of fun to mess with and i hope my manager buddy down at the local MF will pull one out for me to mess with.
Sheesh, i think i'm in too deep.....

Thanks a lot Twisted!!

I've never been much into either kind of music - neither country nor western - but this was awesome!! 8) 8) And that is how they do it

I've thought for a while that with a 12 string and a ES335 my guitar collection would be complete - now I'm not so sure about that anymore...

I never knew what that term meant until now. B-bender Tele. Thanks for that vid Twisted. :D Man, I've gotta get one of those! 8)

Dogbite, I hear what your saying, but:
It allows a guitarist to bend one note while holding others, and it also allows him to bend notes faster in succession than is possible for most players using only their fingers. For chordal playing, a chord can be strung and held and a note in the chord bent higher.

How cool is that? Great, something else I need to add to the "gear I want" list!
