cleanliness again

like i said, i tried almost everything, i tried the 60bpm and it still hasnt worked out, its been in my practice routine for the last 6 months, and es i gradually incresed, any other suggestions?

find out whatever pace you CAN do it at. do it at that pace for 20 minutes/half an hour. THen speed up a few bpm. do that for half an hour. etc...

I think technique and speed is all about relaxation and muscle memory. Chances are if you make a mistake anywhere, it's a matter of relaxing (that's why many people mess up when playing in front of people) or your muscles in your hand can't deal with what your brain is telling them what to do. That being said, you'll find if you start REALLY slow and get used to how a certain line feels, you'll fly through the line soon enough.

for me, that's not true with set lines, so much, but when i'm making things up, and i'm at the edge of my creative ability, almost any thought at all will change what i'm doing.
