I'm going to try to make it out on Saturday. Looking forward to it!
I was thinking about it but it's the same weekend as Fort Worth's Main Street Arts Festival (the 19th through the 22nd). Got Spyro Gyra Thursday night, Asleep At The Wheel Friday night and Delbert McClinton Saturday night with a whole bunch more bands throughout the days (including one of my all time favorite "finds", Carlos Guedes y Desvio! This guy plays an electric harp (not a harmonica, but that big curvy thing with lots of strings associated with angels), they're an amazing 3 piece latin-rock-bluesy-like-nothing-you've-ever-heard-before band. If you get a chance to see them, go!)
In fact, there are more than 75 bands playing ..... here's the schedule.
I also want to see James Hinkle, Johnny Red and the Roosters, the Light Crust Dough Boys, Panhandler's Steel Drum Band, 3 Fools on Stools, the Texas Gypsies and the Crawfish Band. That pretty much eats up a four day weekend! Y'all might want to think about expanding your weekend and coming on over to Fort Worth, too!!!
:D

I will go at some point. Thinking of bringing my Gibson LP Studio to sell. Seems easier than posting it on eBay. Sounds like its bigger than ever this year. Anyone had any luck selling a guitar at a show like that?
its a great guitar show, i wen't last year with the guy who taught me how to play guitar,
met some great guitar players, saw some sweat butt guitars and had a blast, go
if you have the chance 8)

A friend of mine took his Guild Bluesbird to Dallas a few years ago and was expecting to sell it for around $800-$900. He walked out the door with $1200!

The show was awesome. There were a lot of guitars changing hands. I got to meet Paul Reed Smith. Cool guy and man can he play. Unforyunately his guitars are a little out of my reach.
