Yes, I've been working more hours lately and will be unable to make it home before my guitar lesson starts after work.
Thanks for all the help! :)
Unless you work as a sauna tester, or a scuba diver then your normal work environment should be safe for your guitar during the day. Certainly more safe than leaving it in the car.
92ish outside, 115 F inside with 97% humidity. Inside the car was 135 F, doubtful that there is much humidity.
Which would be worse? I just work at a manufacturing plant. It's rather pleasant at the end of the day getting into the comfortable 135 F car after 115 F and 97% humidity. We have a 135 F large parts curing oven that the furnace blowers drive the humidity out of. It is more comfortable than on the plant floor when it reaches above 110 with the humidity from all the steam molding presses. I'm guessing the humidity would help in the situation of a wooden guitar though....
If you don't mind answering another question, what about amps left in a hot car all day? Would that be bad for it?
Getting left in a hot car all day is bad for anything, so I would think so.
