I don't know why I posted in the maintenance forum, not everyone goes there, so heres the post in this forum...

Great sound for 70 dollars from nonworking condition

I've been playing this guitar all night. I can't believe two things.

One: How playable it is.
Two: How creative you can be on a strat.

I'm glad I put the blowout pickups of guitarfetish in here. I would never have known how nice this thing plays. The last time I used it I bearly know my open chords.

Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?

Sounds great. Hopefully my upgrading will be finished by this weekend.

know anything about the xaviere strings? $2.39 for strings is pretty cheap.

Walmart is selling Gibson "Pure" guitar strings for electrics at about 2.50

Yup, strats do have a nice chime. All single coils do, really. Tele's sound great too. My next guitar will be either a strat or tele, I think.....

I wish they made a tele w/ a floyd rose or Wilkenson...:(

That's kind of gross. It must have come out of the deal with Gibson to make guitars for them.
