Before you click this link you might want to get a towel to wipe up any drool you are going to have...well at least most of the Americans will drool!
I'd love to have a badass paintjob like that on one of my axes. :D
Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.
Is that the way the strips are? - they do not appear to have crisp/straight lines.
It it looks like they are brushed on - they appear to have brush strokes and the white base showing through the red stripes.
I don't think I'd invest $3K in an item like that unless it was air brushed.
Maybe that's the way they are custom painted?
Maybe it's not what is stated on the auction site?
Maybe the photos don't show the true beauty!
Maybe I need better bifocals.
Maybe I'm just............
BS

I don't really see what you mean?
The body is schulpted and with the gloss finish there are reflections but if you compare the pictures of different angles the reflections are in different places.
I do really like the paint job myself.
I think you need better bifocals.
It was airbrushed. The "white" your seeing is really just a glare on it.
That thing is F ing amazing. I'd LOVE to pay 3500 on that, If I had it.
I take a lot of photos and finish a lot of furniture and I was just making an observation of what I saw.
There is nothing wrong with any finish as long as it holds up to expected wear and tear and the owner likes it.
As far as the guitar itself - it is definitely an instrument I believe most would be happy to own, myself included

Sweet axe! Oh, if I had the money... 8)

I would love one with a british paint job.
But it is a sweet axe though.
I also wouldnt mind one with a lebanese flag paint job. Long live the cedars!
Brazil's flag would be tres cool!

Maybe it's just me, but the serial number almost seems intentionally blurry. The Gibson stamp below it looks good, yet the large, dark colored numbers of the serial number are all fuzzy. That always makes me wonder.
If I was going to spend $3k on something, it'd want to verify it first.
It's absolutely beautiful though. I will own a Stars & Stripes guitar at some point.
"Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution"
i would love to play the star spangled banner on that guitar on the 4th of july 8)
Crank: (part of) numbers are often intentionally blurred out to prevent lamers to claim it's theirs and have it registered as stolen. Personally I wouldn't want any flag on my guitar but it sure is a nice axe!
oooooh, this one's for $4000, starting bid
