Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a free songbook of the internet. What i want is a book with a bunch of songs from various artists, with the lyrics and chords. If someone could help it would be great!!!! :D 8)

I've never come across that on line. You may find it but probably not for free.
The only thing I can suggest is to go hunt for tab for the songs/artists you want download them and create your own personal book.

I know what you mean. When I first started playing I started downloading every tab of any song I even remotely wanted to play.
Now I have piles of tab that would a few boxes all over the place. I've never got around to organizing them myself.
I keep telling myself I'm going to do it but I never get around to it.

If you PM me your e-mail I'll send you my songbook. Do note I stopped adding to it after a while so it mostly accoustic strumming and picking. Things by REM, RHCP, Live and a few more. About 25 songs in total.
A good place to look for fairly accurate, detailed, free tab is the
Power Tab Archive. To use Power Tabs though, you'll need to download the free Power Tab Editor from Power Tab Net. It's not exactly a songbook but it is a great resource that you should investigate.
