GNX4 drum machine level

Does anyone out there who owns a GNX4 guitar workstation know if there is a way to save the output level for the drum machine. Whenever I start the drum machine it always starts on the first built in pattern and at level 15 volume, which just about blows away my ears. I know I should remember to set the level before I start the drum machine, but it seems like there should be a way to store that value for future use.
