My new guitar arrived today and she's a beauty. It's a Washburn HB-35 in Natural flame maple. Gold fittings, 5-ply binding all the way round.
As soon as I can put her down, I'll post some pics and we'll see about a sound bite or two.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Here's a couple of quick snaps I took last night
Someone has a thread running on guitars and best bang for the buck. Washburn have done an amazing job - the finish fitting is first class.
The neck and fretboard profile are perfect (for me , at least).
I'll post some more, when I can.
Nice cleans, through creamy tones (think Fleetwood Mac's Albatross) to some nice distortion, that I haven't got around to fully road testing yet.
As the guy who sold it described in the auction "Big, Blonde and Beautiful" - absolutely spot on description.
