It looks like I will be spending this upcoming summer in Williamsburg, Virginia. Now I've never been anywhere near that part of the country, but I figure that there has to be some good guitar playing going on out there. Specifically, I was wondering if anyone on the forums here is from around that area and knows of any good weekly/monthly/etc jams? Blues, bluegrass, Irish...heck, I'll playing anything that you can put a guitar to!

Hey! I live in Newport News...right down the road from Williamsburg (about 20 - 30 minute drive). Lots of good guitar-ing going on around here. Stephen Bennett is around the corner and plays local all the time...Tommy Emmanual will be doing a workshop in Newport News in July, lots of local talent always playing...(my teacher being one of the really great locals). Plenty of other stuff going on as well....
Drop me a message and lets chat...
I may grow old, but I'll never grow up.

Used to be, was a part of me felt like hiding.. but now it comes through. Comes through to you.
They're all at Nick's house.

My wife and me are thinking about vacationing in Ocean City sometime in July or August. Sounds like a plan........
(Hey Nick! You needed new furniture and paint anyways, right? )
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming......
like the passengers in his car.
I'm going to visit some friends in the DC area this summer :D ( fair warning to Nick)
Well it looks like I should try to put together the first annual Nick's GuitarNoise Jam
Yeah! Seriously? Let me know what I can do to help.
Damn! I'm underage!
"This is a public service announcement....with guitars!"
