Can any guitar techs offer any advice for shows? Just got picked up as a guitar tech for a friend's outdoor show next friday (I'm a sound engineer by trade) and am not extremely familiar with what needs to be done. I can set up/take down gear but what generally needs to be done during the show?

I'm not a tech myself but, I would guess it's broken string replacement, tuning and wiping down (sweat removal)... Can't think of anything else...

Repairs, sourcing new parts when some numpty busts the neck doing a Pete Townsend, wiring fixes, and making sure the right guitar is in the right tuning for the next song. the guy who techs for The Edge has to change aa full set of strings on something like 18 guitars every day.
