I just got done spending the most money I've spent on a guitar to date! I've been drooling over Tele's for awhile now, and one in particular at a local store. Didn't think I'd ever get it though.
I just put this on layaway:
'06 60th Anniversary American Deluxe Telecaster in Aged Cherry Burst! The picture does not come close to doing it justice! Absolutely beautiful guitar! Mine has a white pearloid pickguard.
Don't let anyone tell you that local stores can't compete with online stores either. MF sells these for $1329 and I got mine locally for $1099! Free setups for life too!
I MIGHT be able to take it home Friday, but more than likely it won't happen for a few weeks. I don't care how long it takes because this guitar plays like none other I've played before. It might just be "the one"! :) It sounds like heaven too! Had to share because the wife just doesn't fully understand! :lol:
I'll take some good pics once I have it home (gotta show off).

Thanks!!! It sounds better than it looks, actually! I'll post some clips once I have itl. I plugged it into a Deluxe Reverb (my primary amp) and I thought I was gonna cry! :) I'm very excited, to say the least.
