Saving up for a nice tube head and I'm not really sure what to get. I know I could just go for the regular Peavey 6505+ because I know that's the sound I want but I want something different. I play mostly metal. Not like Scorpions or Metallica. Stuff like Job For A Cowboy, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel. Super chunky low ends, super tight gain for chugging and drop tuning but nothing fizzy or weak, but also searing highs for solos. I've been looking at stuff like Egnater, Orange and Marshall but I just don't want to spend $1,500 or so and be bummed. I live in BFE arkansas and the local Guitar Center rarely has much to try out so It'll most likely have to be word of mouth on my decision. Right now I'm thinking probably the EVH 5150III 50 watt or Laney Ironheart. Any suggestions? Maybe something to look for in the description of an amp that'll let me know if its for me or not.
This one should do the work
