I’m writing a song with a slow blues gospel feel. I have the chord progression but I’ve never learned to do the little fills and turnarounds that elevate a song. I’m looking for help with a few patterns or tricks.

I have a sound in mind but can’t think of a specific song I want it to sound like. I’m not looking for single note runs, more like pairs or trios of strings at a time. Hope that makes sense.

My chords are:
C G am F
C E7 am F
C E7 am F
C G C G or G7

Break:

F F C C
E7 E7 am am
F F C C
D7 D7 G G7

Thanks in advance!
