I want to learn how to play Blurry by Puddle of Mudd.
Anybody know a good video or something? A GP file would work but prefer a vid or something.
I think I'd go the route of making sure my guitar was in tune and putting the CD on repeat. The ear training it provides is invaluable, and videos leave so many unanswered questions about whether the artist is really playing or what tuning they're using.
Start with getting the bassline. Then the melody. After that, there aren't many chord options you can use.

And in regard to the "getting in tune," remember to take into account that PoM, like many bands of that genre, use low tunings. You're probably going to be in Eb standard (low to high - Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb).
Peace
thanks maybe ill try that.
I use powertabs, first you have to download the powertab editor:
and then you download individual tab files from a website like this:
they have puddle of mudd's "Blurry".
If you're looking for videos on how to play it, look on Youtube:

I Beileve UltimateGuitar Has A good Choice For Any Tab and im pretty sure Blurry is one of em.
You might be wasting your time with Ultimate Guitar. None of their tabs seem to be accurate at all. I've wasted loads of time on that site and not come up with anything good.
Try this http://www.cleartabs.com/all-artists/puddle-of-mudd-guitar-tabs/
Much better in terms of accuracy.
