I am amazed by the skills of some people here

If you are a beginning guitarist, try posting in the Beginners' Forum of the board. Browse the other forums too though, there are some that are specialized - for example there is a forum devoted to effects, pedals, etc. Not sure there will be forum for everything you mention. Perhaps try the opinions & polls section?

That's not nearly all, if you enter the topic title in google you'll find a whole score of this crap, in all kinds of forums. Ranging from guitar to computergames and programming to movie production. It's a troll, a pretty lazy one to be precise. Apparantly he couldn't even be bothered to change the subject to something relevant, or at the extreme least include guitar in his list of interests. Ah well, atleast he didn't offer to increase certain bodyparts or try to hook us up with some lonely and desperate women just around the corner.

That diablo link did make me smile though. I've always been amazed at how the Diablo community interpretates 'skill' as a magical property you can get from magical items in the game, not as referring to the skills of the human playing the game. Totally off-topic but who cares, this topic won't go nowhere anyway.

yannbarvss: I wish you good luck and hope you'll one day find a passion stronger then trolling on a forum. It's a waste of your own life and nobody gains nothing from that.

Not exactly my typical first post, but thanks for the welcome! The original reason I signed up was cause everyone kept on talking about this mythical "Easy Song Forum" that I could never seem to find. I was so confused...wondering if I was just plain stupid and wasnt seeing it, haha. Finally dawned on me that maybe I needed to be a member to access it, so I signed up and magically it appeared to me! Anyways, Ive been playing guitar for only 4ish months, and I frequently visit this site, acousticguitarforum.com and acousticguitar.com. Based on those sites, you can probably figure out I only have an acoustic, haha. It been alot of fun starting this new hobby...Im pretty bad at it, but I can play a few simple songs so far and trick nonmusicians into thinking that Im not horrible, haha.

OT, I rarely post on the Diablo site, but their OTF is very interesting to read sometimes. Im pretty sure the whole +skills thing is a joke, haha.
