I live in an apartment complex we are friendly with all of the neighbors but this you won't believe. The guy and his wife who live below me are moving out. He knows that I am attempting to learn how to play guitar. So late last night I was outside smoking a cigarette and he hands me a case and says good luck. So of course I say thank you and go back upstairs. Of course I opened it up right away and it a strat look alike. It is a G&L S-500 guitar made in the USA. It has a honey maple finish to it and 3 single coil pick-ups. The neck seems to be maple with a finish,Sperzel locking tuners, and a certificate of authenticity actually signed by Phyllis Fender. This guitar is absolutely beautiful. I didn't have time to look into this. Is this an expensive guitar????
it looks exactly like this one. Same color, pickupguard, also the letter of authenticity. I am at work so I cannot do much more research.

Yes. And many believe these are better guitars than Fender Strats. I have a first year S-500. It is still my favorite guitar among the more than ten electrics I own. I will never sell it. You have lucked out bigtime. Enjoy it.

Now why couldn't I have had neighbors like that when I lived in an apartment? They sound like really nice people and evidently they think you are too! :D
Life's journey can be hard at times, but you have to realize that you are the only one with the power make it a worthwhile experience.
Awsome story and congrats

Oh THAT guitar ... yeah, that's the infamous one. Problem with the circuitry causes your fingernails to fall off. And nosebleeds.
Please box it carefully and send it to me ASAP for proper disposal.

Wow! Those kind folks aren't moving to Virginia are they? We've got an empty house down the street...
Congratulations and enjoy!
If the dude woke up this mornin', he's playin'.
nice. wouldn't it be ironic if your new neighbors hated music and guitars. !!!
you have a very nice guitar. Ive played them and they are de- luxe all the way.
I just found one on ebay for over $1000.00. Can this be true. Like I said above it does have the certificate signed and the exact color and specs as the one in the article I posted above. I think I am going to fall off my chair.
Wow, you scored big time.
Congrats!!!1
