I didn't think I could do this

I managed to tune my "E" string on my Strat an octave high once when I had removed all of the strings.

Shockingly, it didn't break, but it was VERY VERY tight... I tuned it back down and foolishly tried to use it for an hour or so, but that was one seriously buzzy string.

Oddly, in six months of playing guitar I have yet to break a string. I wonder if I'm not playing hard enough, or if I'm just lucky...
