I should be an addict by now.....but a few months ago, a lot of stuff disappeared off the Games and Trivia forum....so apart from a couple of threads, I don't even bother much with that anymore....if they're just going to get deleted what's the point....anyway it does at least mean I have more time to practise and check out the serious forums.....
I'ts all about saving bandwidth I think....watch out, a couple of months from now a few people will find their total posts seriously reduced....

I'm not entirely sure that this is an accurate statement -- Nick will correct me if I'm wrong -- but I think he's found a way around this problem. I don't think you'll see your post counts diminish in the future if he has to prune back some threads.

Yep, it won't happen anymore.
We were trying to decrease the size of the database to enable search again, but it didn't really make a difference.
The threads we chose to prune were the multipage single word answer games that had no real relevant content but the last couple of posts.
I think that now even if I do prune the thread the counts won't change.
Of course Vic, if that is how you are building your post count, you are weak, weak, weak... :D
Then again, if I'm deleting posts just to remain in the lead, so am I :lol:
