Just got an e-mail that had a link to the Gibson website.
The link has an app for the iphone for tuning your guitar, finding chords and a metronome.
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
It's not bad -- the tuner's the best part, I think. And it's free.

It seems very interesting. I don't have an iPhone but many people near to me use it.
Thanks for the link! :D
I'll be getting an iPhone soon. Gonna have to get that :)
Thanks.

Another that I found is Chord Master which is an I-phone chord library.
The free version is all first position chords, and the paid version( $1.99) claims to have over 7000 chords
I like that you can have it show either the intervals or the note names.
And if you run a finger across the screen, it lets you hear the chord.

Planet Waves has a nice chord app and a scale app too, but they're not free. They are, however, very inexpensive.

That's the same ones I linked. I suppose I should have mentioned the scale app too.
And there is both a free and a paid version of each. You're right they are cheap. $1.99 is certainly the kind of price I can manage (though I don't download paid apps on my company-issue iPhone)
