I haven't the opportunity to plug it into an amp and have to use my RP50 for the time being but am very pleased. The tone is chunky, ballsy and gritty, which is what I was looking for. I'm very satisfied. It may take my Jag's place as my new main axe.

According to Epiphone's website : Alnico Classic Humbuckers. That's all I know about them.

yeah. nice guitar. love the Custom. the inlay on the first fret is awesome looking. the headstock inlay is fancier on the custom too. cool. how many pounds? heavy?
