Jerry Reed's "Amos Moses"

Howdy womerns and fellars, hope everyone is well and resisting their own GAS while shopping for friends and family, as I am having a tough time not buying my own toys! Anyway, I have the notes figured out for Jerry Reed's "Amos Moses" and it sounds pretty good on my Tele and hot rod deluxe. I dont quite have the "growl" and "snap" like Jerry's main riff does. I know alot of it is in his fingers but any suggestions for amp settings or pup selection for this country tone? Thanks for readin!
