Hello there everyone! I'm new to this site and I have a question to ask you guys. First off I've been playing guitar for about 9 years. It is pretty much the only thing i love to do. Now recently I got into Jimi Hendrix for the first time. My question is, does anyone know a book or a website that fully teaches Jimi's awesome style of Chord/melody you hear on songs like Bold as Love and Little Wing, to name a few. I looked on google already and only founds sites that teach his songs. Nothing that goes Deep into that style. Anyways, if anyone knows anything, just let me know! Thanks

Ryan

Check out youtube. Hit 'Jimi Hendrix lessons' in the search bar and plenty of lessons shall be there.

Good Luck.

Or spend a few bucks on the Hal Leonard TAB/Notation books. Having used them for my exam performances, I can vouch for them being reliable. And you get the bass lines too.

Ra Er Ga.

Ninjazz have SuperChops.

Welcome to the forum. As already mentioned YouTube has tons - and Hal Leonard books are great. Also, try a search at Amazon.

Why do we have to get old...

The Hal Leonard books are good. I bought one and the guy doing the transciptions get into his style a bit. He gives you enough perspective to look at the music and figure out for yourself what he is doing. That's half the battle. Each person sees it a bit differently but it's the same information. Definitely get one of the books it'll point you in the right direction for studying his style.

Have fun.
