Yes, that would be me. I think theres at least another one of those out there somewhere now, someone posted a review at HC a while after I did mine. I do, however, have the authentication letter from GS stating mine is the first '40' 8) .

Oh I will - Ive laminated the letter :roll: and got copies of all the correspondence involved in getting the spec/ordering. This is definitely a keeper. I did have to wait 6 months for it though.
The Jinj is right about the tone controls too - they really do work without making things go all woolly. The higher end guitars (graduate etc) are gorgeous. The explorer and 'V' they do are simply awesome.
