Hi, I play in a band that playes live on bars/pubs/weddings etc, and I wonder if you guys have any good tips on songs that people want to hear when they go out and have a beer (not bear  ) or go on a party. We play everything from 50's music to never (maroon 5, Foo Fighters, beatles, disco etc).
i just wonder if you have any songs that you know can get a crowd going. We are 5 people: drums, bas, piano, guitar, one female one male singer, and tambourines n'stuff
Thanks a bunch for any tips

Any songs that are on an average classic rock or new rock station are good ones to go with.

Hiya,
Anything by the Eagles, or the Beatles will always go down well. for weddings you need some slushy loved-up stuff, but I couldn't recommend any.

Sometimes in life you get shown the light,
In the strangest of places if you look at it right.
You have to do the chicken dance at weddings :)

Definately Takin' Care of Business!
Although, what usually goes over well is any upbeat song that makes people want to dance.
yeah what about 'life in the fast lane' by the eagles.
Welcome to the Jungle, or maybe Paradise City by Guns n Roses?
Some Led Zep like Heartbreaker, Whole Lotta Love, The Wanton Song
Rolling Stones- Sympathy for the Devil
Primal Scream - Rocks
The Charlatans- The only one i Know
The Who- My Generation
The Stone Roses - Waterfall
