hello there everyone, I've got a question you may be able to help me with

Does anyone know where would be best to send my lyrics?
I have tried sending them to the publishing side of record companies but to no avail.

I do write music to some of them but my main forte is lyrics and rather than sending demo's down I'd prefer to focus on the lyric writing side but am not sure where to go from here.

Any advice would be most welcome :)

ps if any of you are looking for a lyricist to work with I'd be more than happy to help out

thanx byeee :)

Hiya,

Sadly, record companies are more interested in marketing a finished product these days, so you really need to have the music written too. Recorded demo's will help sell the song to a band, so you've got a lot of work to put in before you get very far.

Start here

Musicians' Union

They have lots of info for the struggling artist.

Anybody here want to have a go at scoring some of Painter's work? I'll make a start on one if it helps.

Best,

A :-)
