I think you will be fine. Many guitarists only use 3 fingers (index, middle & ring) anyways.

Sounds like good news already.
And a good attitude to go along with it.
Good luck with a speedy and thorough recovery.
Thumbs up!

I firmly believe that the mind has the power to heal the body. It starts with a positive attitude and hard work in rehab. Heck, guitar playing may be considered rehab. It could give you an excuse to buy a new guitar.
Yeah, sounds good. You'll get it back if you work at it. :D
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Great news Bill, I wish you a speedy recovery.
But realistically, it might take a year to get good movement back in that finger. On the plus side, you may be able to play a barre chord better than ever. :D
Just kidding a little there, hope everything turns out well. Don't be in too big a hurry to play, give your finger time to heal well.

WOW! My wishes for a speedy recovery.

How do you know if a drummer is knocking on your door.....
The knocking speeds up.
Good luck to you! Just keep up your good attitude and you can't lose :!:
Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you! I'm sure if you want to play bad enough, you'll find a way around it. Good luck to you and keep us posted. You've had a lot of great suggestions here so far!
