U2Bono269 and I were both lucky recipients of new guitars for our birthday. :) I didn't get mine until today, because I had to go pick it out with my wife, but I ended up with a Schecter C-1+ in Black Cherry. The picture on their site is far better than anything I was able to take, so I'll just let you look at it here if you want to. :D
I love, Love, LOVE the way this guitar sounds. Very warm tone, extremely crunchy with the overdrive wound up, and the coil tap lets me switch over to a single coil on either pickup in a heartbeat for a different tone. It's very solid yet quite light, definitely a bit lighter than my Strat. Set neck, Grover tuners, carved flame maple top...it looks as good as it sounds too, which is always a plus.
