Morley wahwah (Bad Horsie 2)

I have recently run into an issue with a pedal I have owned for almost a year now. This pedal has caused no problems until today.
When I plug in a chord to the input, it lights up, showing that it is active. The issue is that I don't want it to be active; it is not being pressed down but still gives me the muffled sound. The other issue is when I plug in an adapter cable- the 1-spot that I have used for several months- the Bad Horsie 2 still shows that it is in use, but this time it doesn't modify the sound; I could keep it exempt from the pedal line and my tone would not change.

Has anybody run into issues like this with their pedals? If you could help me out, that would be great.
