I am waxing a bit sentimental for all the good ole' gigging days so here's by small-time band history:

1986 Ground Zero, Classic Rock, Fayetteville, NC(5+ Shows)
1987-1988 Strangerz , Original Rock, Santa Barbara, CA (Played Whiskey twice in L.A., along with local cable TV show) (10+ Shows)
1987 Ground Zero II, Original Rock, Santa Barbara, CA (5+ Shows)
1990-1991 Groove Kingdom, Classic, Modern and Orginal Rock, SLC, Utah (30+ Shows)
1991-1994 The Groove, Keyboard Dance Rock, SLC, Utah, (Highest paid weekend = $3500) (250+ shows)
1994 Doc Holiday Band, Classic rock, Houston, TX (only true hired gun gig) (25+ Shows)
1995 -1996 Quick Fix, Classic, Modern Rock, Columbus, GA (Voted best guitarist at all- Army Battle of the bands) (10+ Shows)

2001-2002 House Call Blues Band, Fayetteville, NC (30+ Shows)
2002 Mojo Kings, Fayetteville, NC (lead vocalist and guitarist) (20+ shows)

Coolest show experience: Playing the Star Spangled banner to 8,000+ of my fellow soldiers at the Ft. Bragg Fairgrounds in 1997.

Mine is not so long. I've only played bass in public, but I mess about with a guitar at home.

1983-1984: Fitlarinn á bakinu (Fiddler on his Back), 2 shows, 1 demo cassette with 12 originals.

2001-2005*: ( Fraebbblarnir), about 50 shows, 1 single, 1 CD (Dót, "Stuff") with 15 originals and 1 cover.

*Before I joined them, Fraebbblarnir (1978-1983, 1996-2005) had released 4 albums and several singles and EPs. The same bunch of people performed under various names 1983-1996.

2002 - present....700+ shows. Unfortunately all of them are in my living room and the only audience is the dog. And yes, he has walked out in the middle of the set on many occasions :D
