yep....i left one of my guitars with a "friend" while i left on deployment. long story short.... he sold it. that was my first guitar, and as of a couple years ago, it wasnt my MAIN guitar anymore, but it still wailed! now its gone... someone else is wailing on it! ARGH!!!!! i at least hope he got ripped off and someone paid like...100 bucks for it. he doesnt know any better. and he's too dumb to do any research to see how much its really worth.
pound on him . 100 times ought to be fair.
When you say deployment do you mean like "overseas", if so that's just plain mean and cold. Trust me he's no friend.
unlucky, what was is Gibson of Epi? :(
it's an epi. so its not like i lost a fortune, but its a b*tch nonetheless. yes i mean deployment overseas, and to make matters worse...he moved back to ohio. i never have a reason to go there, and if i do, i have no idea where he would be. its as good as gone
I have a few names for someone that would do that but this is
a family friendly forum. Just let me say that "friend" is not
one of them.
i would track him down and sue him in small claims court.
It would cost $700 to replace it, i would defiantly pursue this

That's a shame. And very, very wrong.

Man that sucks, my brother has that exact same guitar so I know how good it is.. :x Do you reckon you'll buy another one?
People like that baffle me. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Your 'friend' can be turned into a black beauty too. I guess you know how.

Wouldn't that be "black and blue" and drop the beauty?
Sorry to hear about your guitar loss. I would be  :!:

Black and Bluety?
It happens. I loaned a kid an expensive multi-efx for one gig and somehow he fried it. Then later I loaned him an old (but I liked it) amp for one gig and he never returned it. I loaned another friend a Vox wah for his son to try out, it's been over a year and he hasn't returned it.
Glad you are home. Save up and get another. And I am the last to give this advice, but don't loan it out. :D

What a turd! Sorry to hear. I couldn't imagine doing something like that!
