Congrats! 8)
And nice color! The midi interface seems very interesting, too.
Good move! Enjoy it. Sure you won't be keeping the the synth (MIDI) pup?
-=tension & release=-
Cool looking guitar. Congratulations.
Whats the yellow thing stuck to the back of the headstock?
i don't have an amp that the synth would work with, and the yellow thing is a pickup holder.
i'm considering switching out the pickguard.
Very nice!

Looks like a pick holder, I have the same one but I didn't stick it to my guitar. Holds like 5 picks.

Yet. :D
I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
i don't have the money to buy the amp that that preamp would work with. it's a synth amp. i'm not exactly sure what a synth amp does, actually. i'm guessing some sort of 80's electronic sound.
Congrats! 8)

It will allow you to use your guitar to control any MIDI sound generating device.
It's not a "synth amp", but rather a synth controller. Something like one of these It converts notes into MIDI data.
You play notes on your guitar and it comes out sounding like drums, grand piano, banjo, trumpet, or whatever you want. 8)

i'm guessing i'd hate the sound of a midi pickup. i'd probably find it cheesy.
Congrats on the guitar! 8)
if you didn't know, g&l stands for george fullerton and leo fender. it's the company they created after they sold off fender to cbs. they're generally considered to be at the same level as fender custom shops. very well made guitars, good pickups, made in the u.s.a.
Verynice-i once owned a G&L Legacy and it was the best guitar i ever had
this post is making me sad now
I miss it so much :(
