Hi! After 21 days of hard waiting, I finally got it! My new Fender Strat HSS Deluxe! :D It came with a nice hard case
It plays so well! The clean sound is incredible! My latest guitar was an Ibanez with 2 pick-up so the clean sound was not his speciality!
I didn't have much time to try my new Fender, but I know it's the beginning of a long love story :wink:

There's American Standard, there's also American Standard HSS (HSS means Humbucker-Single Coil-Single Coil)
Samething with the Deluxe. It's 2 different guitar, not an option. Even if it's the same guitar, except for the Humbucker!
I can't tell you how it sounds right now, I need to play more with it! But I think it's not the better humbucker for BIG rock and metal :wink: It sounds good anyway, but for another type of music

Sweet. I think Bish has the identical (or at least very similar) guitar in his avatar, although I couldn't swear to it - he's been quiet lately. Look forward to the video clips.

Sweet! I love the white with the maple neck. The Strat Deluxe is really the end-all for Fender electrics... nice job!

I have the same one, except slightly different color and a rosewood neck. It's such a beautiful guitar and you're right on with the clean tone. Tiny bit of chorus + reverb on the neck pickup on the clean channel is the best clean tone I've ever got out of a guitar.
People who say today's Fenders lack tone are not playing these.
