:D I just got an Ibanez 2550 e GK Prestige :D, it was only 675 bucks, used, but it has lots of stuff this guy put into it, it has a tremol-no ( so it doesn't go out of tune ) and another thing so I can switch the tremolo bar between divebomb, floating tremolo or the other one which doesn't let me move the tremolo bar at all.

That isn't exactly the one cause I haven't taken pictures of it but its that model.

The guy put in a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom Trumbucker in the bridge position, the factory Dimarzio single coil in the middle. And he put an Aph-1 Humbucker in the neck position which is a pretty common combination for guitars, but sounds awesome!

Its got great versatility cause the Custom Custom has a real edgy sound, while the single coil has this weird, in an awesome way, sounding sound, and the Aph-1 has got a great clean sound.

I saw this guitar brand new for 1,300 bucks at its highest price and 1000 bucks at its lowest price, and i got this one for a good price, with case and everything, and manual, and the papers and everything :D.

Looks like a sweet lil toy Coolnama, hope you enjoy playing it!

And why does every new purchase thread on here give me instant GAS? I even GASsed over Wes's Sunburst strat (I think it was Wes's anyway) despite actually owning one myself. I got it bad.

Looks like a nice guitar for playing fast solos - reminds me of the 80's, and Whitesnake (hey, check out "Still Of The Night" on youtube!" and big hair and shoulder pads.....

But hey, I hope you have a lot of fun with the new guitar....play what you wanna play, and enjoy what you do play!

Yeah, shredding guitar, it has a radius of 16, that means it has really great action but not too low as to sacrifice bends, I think it has the perfect action :D

Hot looking indeed, yep the sustain is incredible, basswood I don't think is known for that but the pickups really make a difference :D.

I thought basswood would sound flat, but this guitar sounds full, and has alot of sustain :D. And I love the shark tooth inlays, now if only I had a better amp...

Basswood is actually very upper-midrangey, as far as "tone woods" go. Lot of shredder-style guitars use it because it cuts through the mix fairly well. I've seen a number of high-end basses with it too.

Cool looking guitar! :)

Thank you man you certainly know your wood 8).

Lol I haven't changed the strings I'm going to call the original owner he said he was going to help me when I changed the strings and show me how to tune harmonics and everything :D

Anybody use Elixirs, do they really last long ?

As much as I love the feel of Elixirs and other coated strings (my fav being Black Diamonds), I'm sad to say that they don't last as long. However, if you love the feel of them, just change them more often. (too bad they cost more than standard strings :( )

Beautiful guitar BTW!!

Why do we have to get old...

LOL but they actually cost more than other strings xD, I guess I should try Ernie Balls, and if not back to D'adds ( D add 9 :D )

But I'm scared of changing strings on this beast, I'll have to be careful :D
