I finally took a picture of my 2 new VooDoo guitars I got from eBay. My 12 string which I have mentioned before and my Acoustic/Electric Cutaway. The acoustic/electric has new strings and a new nut but the 12 is still stock. I have to find the time to change the strings (even though the stock one's aren't that bad!). I also did 2 short recordings of the intro to Iris by the GooGoo Dolls (not the drop D version) that I just started today. I need to work on the strumming pattern but it's only been an hour of work. There is a bit of clicking in the 12 string recording I need to find where it's coming from.

Nice Mike... is that six string a solid top?

Your guitars are nice.Do they feature a solid spruce top ?

How much it took you for that bridge repair...

And i see a table for four there. So can we drop by someday at your place with our guitars... (but i don't drink !!)

Also seems like with your new guitars in aisle , your Agile LP is taking a backseat...

Since you like Goo Goo Dolls , may i suggest 'Give a little bit'.Its a fantastic song for a 12ver.

Your playing is improving.Keep it up.

Nice Mike... is that six string a solid top?

The auction says it's a cedar top...not sure if it's solid or not? It sounds nice...of course it sounds better plugged in like most acoustic electrics (thinner one's anyway)...

I think the 12 string acoustic is a spruce top but again not sure if it's solid. I only paid $80 for the 12 string and $110 for the acoustic/electric and both prices included shipping...but I will say that the quality of both is fantastic! They feel heavy and solid. The necks on both feel like baseball bats, the tuners are nice and tight and hold their tuning well...I haven't played the 12 string in about 1 1/2 weeks and when I picked it up today it was still in tune...even with all the humidity we have been having.

Nice guitars and recordings.

P.S. You should record Iris with vocals, if you haven't already.

you can tell if the tops are laminated by looking at the edge of the soundboard in the soundhole. If you see 3 layers along the edge, it's laminated. if you can only see the grain of the wood, it's solid.
