Let me tell you a little story.
So a few weeks back I went to Guitar Center and looked for a SKB ps-45 pedalboard. I've owned this before and loved it and really didnt want anything else. The salesman tried his best to get me to switch. But I found the ps45 on Musiciansfriend for $20 more but they had free shipping. So, needing it by last weekend I got the two day shipping for a little more and was happy to see it coming on Thursday. However, it wasnt the pedalboard. Furious, I called them and was told they would give me a $6 break on next day shipping (Which should be Friday) but they wouldnt ship it until I got the wrong item on a UPS truck. The pedal arrived today (following Monday). Oh and I left out the part that they said they would give me a little over $100 off after much haggling (Havent seen the refund yet).
So, I do not have the right size cables but I do have lots of cable and a soldering gun, and a nifty spirit. Where can I get the plugs that go on the end of the cable? Is there anything I should keep in mind as far as quality? I am going to get heat shrink at radio shack. My thought is I will cut up some of the extra cables I have and put my own ends on them. I'd rather do that than pay $100 for the pedalboard kit that Guitar Center has.
I'd like to say there is much jubilation but the way this whole transaction went, was really rough on me.
Thoughts?

Jim, do you mean the jumper cables for connecting your pedals to each other, or the power adapter cables?
If the former, is there something about that board that you can't use simple jumpers like these:

When my (used) wah pedal arrived, it had a short cable made with these plugs still attached:

Nice, but pricey!

Ya, the ones that connect the pedals but I need different lengths and I'm short of cash.. So I thought if I could find the right angle ends, then I could make the cables the size I want.
Would I look at an electrical store or a music store? I wonder if Guitar Center would have them.
Thanks

Not quite sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but checkthis out

It looks like you can get them right on amazon.
Brian
guitar center should have the 1/4" cable ends.
Yes, GC should have them, but they may be the ones that are $5 a pop.
The ones in alittlelost's amazon link are the cheapest I've seen:

Cool, thank guys.. Great information and links. Unfortunately, for my first pass I might have to get the $20 ones cause I need them by LAST Friday.. but I really like the ones listed in Amazon. I'm not struggling for space right now, but I think I will switch to those when I redesign my board with more pedals and need space.
WOOT, Guess I'll be making cables tonight.
